I do know Mandinka

There are a number of videos to which I've planned on posting links. Unfortunately, it seems, Viacom has pulled the plug on that party. At this end, I'm not seeking to make a dime off anyone else's work. I'm simply trying to promote great artists and notable achievements. It's unfortunate.

One of the vids on my list was Mandinka by Sinead O'Connor from 1987. If my sources are correct, she hasn't even sung this song in concert for a long time.

I think it's her best song, and it's one that showcases her amazing vocal range. How many female artists can slide through that many octaves? Wow!
