Happy Ever After

The African musical influences in Julia Fordham's Happy Ever After set it apart from other songs popular in the late 1980s. I don't feel the song ever got the cred it deserved. Thanks to the minimalistic approach taken in the video, I think it's worth watching for more reasons than eighties anthropology, and more than worth a listen--it's a beautiful song and her rich alto voice is incredible.
